Andres Salazar is a graphic designer and visual artist from Dallas, Texas. Through his studies and work for ASU, he developed a love for print and packaging design, and plans to further pursue these disciplines in his career. When not designing, he enjoys finding inspiration from media and the world around him, which he channels into personal art. For the future, he works to sharpen his skills in design and art in order to develop projects and products that perfectly encapsulate himself, his ideas, and his identity.
Since the first launch in 1957, millions of pieces of man-made waste have been left in space. Everything from chips of paint to entire defunct satellites remain in Earth’s orbit to this day, but each and every piece of junk can prove to be hazardous to space exploration and research.
As more and more space launches are carried out, this field of debris will only grow. Unless suppressed, this will come to a culmination with the field colliding with itself and greatly multiplying in size and quantity, making it impossible to leave Earth. It is imperative that regulations and removal efforts are put in motion to prevent us from being locked out of outer space in the near future.
