While navigating postpartum there is still a lack of universal mental health screening, particularly in low-resource settings. Many women do not receive adequate postpartum care, especially those from marginalized communities or those with limited access to healthcare. Moreover, stigma surrounding mental health still prevents many mothers from seeking help. In response, healthcare systems are gradually expanding resources to integrate mental health care into routine postpartum checkups. However, there is a need for more holistic, culturally sensitive, and accessible services to ensure that all mothers receive the support they need during this critical period.
