Jackie is a Graphic Designer from Washington State. Attending ASU to study the field, she found herself in Arizona, excelling in conceptual thinking, collaboration, and active listening. Graduating with her B.S. in Visual Communication Design in the spring of 2023, she plans to continue exploring the fields of design and carry on her work with 2D and 3D models as well as animation. Starting with art, she has grown her skills through various mediums, developing the style and intrinsic love for design she holds today.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is a leading cause of death among veterans. In 2021, four times as many veterans died from suicide than in combat due to post traumatic stress disorder and the effects it has. Mental health is majorly stigmatized within the veteran community and often proper treatment isn’t taken advantage of. In order for changes to be made the government must require necessary treatment for veterans, family and friends need to understand the true implications of PTSD and offer the correct support, and veterans must deny the stigma and accept mental challenges.
