Jieru Zhou
Jieru Zhou is a Graphic Designer and an illustrator from Guangzhou China. She was a Graphic Design Student at Arizona State University. During Artron's internship program in 2023, she discovered that she excelled at combining hand drawing and graphic design to design book covers, which led to a career path. Designing book covers and promotional posters during her internship became a career milestone. Jieru's graphic design and paintings are full of creativity and convey her passion and love for design.
Teenage gun violence has become a severe social problem in the United States. U.S. teenager gun-related deaths have surged 87% in the past decade, with thousands of minors falling victim to gun violence in 2023 alone and a continual rise in fatal shootings among youth.
Although the Government arranges police and regular drills around schools, their efforts cannot undo the irreversible damage done to victims and their families. Addressing such issues requires stronger regulation of gun laws, a focus on youth mental health issues, better education for youth, and increased public awareness of gun violence issues.
