A growing number of households with children are food insecure. Their ability to access affordable nutritious food for their families on a consistent basis can hinder children’s chance at the future they deserve. It is a basic human right that nutritious food is accessible and should not be a matter of choosing between paying rent or routine medical care to afford basic food that provides the nutrition to their developing bodies.
