Nikole got into graphic design as a pre-teen when she taught herself photoshop, where she proceeded to spend all of her free time. Safe to say, choosing a major when enrolling in university came easily. Since doing so, her design intuition and passion has grown to most prominently include packaging, animation, and print design. She puts a part of herself into everything she creates and finds design inspiration in the most unlikely of places. Additionally, she takes part in record and bottle collecting, journaling, skateboarding, punk shows, and film photography and sees all of these things as an extension of herself.
The NASA Psyche Mission encapsulates the monumental mission to the unique metal-rich asteroid orbiting the Sun between Mars and Jupiter. Launched on Friday, October 13th of 2023, the spacecraft is actively undergoing its 6 year long journey to its destination. Being the first expedition of its kind and due to the time interval before it gets there, the design students participating in the Psyche Capstone project are tasked with creating campaigns and products to maintain public interest during the interim. Nikole opted to do this as her Capstone Project mainly as an opportunity to collaborate and bond with her dad, who has been a spacecraft engineer for the past 30 years.
