Victims To The Valley
Environment
Arizona is getting hotter, heat waves are becoming longer, and heat related deaths in Maricopa county have skyrocketed in the past decade. When it comes to low-income communities, neighborhoods are designed to stay even hotter, and the residents don’t have the resources they need to protect themselves. Heat deaths are preventable, but for some, it seems impossible to survive.
