Alula Valdivia

Alula is a Graphic and Motion Designer based in Arizona who received a BSD degree in Graphic Design from Arizona State University. Throughout his four years as a Graphic Design student, he learned the simplicity of design and pride you feel after designing something you are proud of, but also the convolutedness that comes with it. His realization that design’s rules need to be broken was a pivotal moment that led to where she is now.

tatistically, black women are three times more likely to die during childbirth as opposed to their white counterparts, most of which were preventable. Through discrimination and bias in the healthcare system, black women are not receiving the proper treatment they need.
