NASA: Sew Psyche’d!

Drifting through space beyond Mars lies Psyche—an asteroid unlike any other. Composed primarily of metal, Psyche offers a rare glimpse into the building blocks of our solar system, holding secrets about how planets like Earth were formed. In 2029, a NASA-led mission will finally allow us to explore it up close.

Through the initiative of Sew Psyche’d, inviting everyone to create textile representations of Psyche’s surface, this mission extends beyond scientists and into the hands of creatives, students, and space enthusiasts. It’s a chance to bridge the gap between what we know and what we can imagine.
