Matthew Salvador is a graphic designer from Campbell, California who moved to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design at Arizona State University. During the program, he was a Creative Services intern at Creative Civilization, an advertising agency in San Antonio, Texas, and has worked as a graphic designer at Infusion Coffee & Tea. He also earned a Judges’ Choice Award at the 2025 ASA DataFest for his contributions to his team’s data visualizations. Now a graduating senior, Matthew is an avid golfer eager to bring his design skills to a team creating and marketing products in the golf industry.

Lost Youth explores the scale of youth homelessness through global, national, and Maricopa County data. 4.2 million U.S. youth experience homelessness each year, with Arizona reporting some of the highest unsheltered rates. The exhibit highlights who is most at risk and includes Cafe Exodus as a case study, adding personal stories that humanize the statistics.
