Vanessa Uriarte is a Graphic Designer based in Arizona, currently earning her BSD in Graphic Design at Arizona State University. During her time at ASU, she has developed a multidisciplinary approach, blending typography, illustration, and motion design. Her work often explores culture, identity, and storytelling through thoughtful and visually engaging design. In Fall 2025, she gained professional experience through an internship, where she discovered a passion for collaborative, fast-paced creative environments. This experience strengthened her interest in branding and marketing, and continues to influence her approach as a designer.
Without Them
Human Rights
This shows the vital role immigrant labor plays in sustaining the U.S. economy, with a focus on agriculture. By imagining a future where these workers are absent, it reveals the human and economic consequences of their disappearance, fields left to rot, systems strained, and industries disrupted. Rooted in human rights and economic justice, the project challenges the narrative that immigrants take jobs, instead highlighting their essential contributions and the invisible labor that supports everyday life.
