Abigail Pavao is a Graphic Designer and artist born and raised in Arizona. She has always had a love for art and design since she was young, so she decided to attend the Design Program at ASU to turn her dreams into a reality. After she graduates with her bachelors this spring, she will be continuing her education at ASU to receive her masters in marketing at the W.P. Carey School of Business. With her education in design and marketing, Abigail hopes to work in the film industry, either working as a creative director on film sets or in the marketing department to promote film and TV.

Everyday, men, women, and children are faced with government corruption, abuse, extortion, and death in diamond mines all across the world. However, there is an alternative to help reduce funding towards these operations. Lab grown diamonds are more ethically, chemically, and structurally the same as natural diamonds, while also involving no human rights violations. Yet there’s still a stigma against them due to a lack of education on this topic.
